Avoid SFI Supply

Concerned that the forestry companies that produce your wood and paper products may only be following the weak standards of the SFI?  The following companies and forest landowners are either SFI “certified,” or are considered by the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) to be compliant with the SFI standards.

Some SFI certified companies and landowners may be doing more than the SFI requires—but there’s no guarantee, unless they’re also FSC certified.  To see which SFI companies and landowners are also FSC certified, check the FSC’s database

If you can’t avoid all SFI products, please at least avoid products explicitly marketed with SFI labels and claims.
